August 14, 2017 is Veterans Day at the Iowa State Fair. Visit us Monday in the Agricultural Building and visit with farmer veterans. We will be located to the left of the stage. Don’t forget to visit partner sites, such as the USDA booth and learn about programs specifically for farmer veterans. A flyer with more sites will be available at our booth. Upcoming Event! USDA Disease Lab: Tour, Info On Ag Bio Security, and More
A tour and program at the USDA Disease Lab in Ames, Iowa is set for August 31, 2017. The day will include a tour of the facility, networking with their veterans group, as well as information on ag bio-security. Registration begins at 9 am, with the first program at 9:30 am. A picture ID, such as a driver’s license will be required to pass through security as you enter the building. Lunch will be
